2013 Duel in the Pool
French Olympic Champion Florent Manaudou, Yannick Agnel and Fabien Gilot for the men and double Olympic Champion Ranomi Kromowidjojo will lead the 37-strong European team at the 2013 Duel in the pool, which is to be held in Glasgow at the Tollcross International Swimming Centre, December 20-21.

“The European team features by far the strongest line up we have ever seen in this bieannial event,” said British Swimming Head Coach Bill Furniss.

Italy dominates Saint Dizier Meeting
Italy dominates the Saint Dizier meeting (25m) this past weekend winning 14 titles.

Federico Turrini of Centro Sportivo Esercito won 100, 200 and 400 metres individual medley in 54.87, 1:58.50 and 4:13.11 respecctively.

In other highlights, Francesco Di Lecce (Rari Nantes Torino) bags double gold in breaststroke events, winning the 50 in a new personal best of 26.93 and 100 metres in 59.00. Earlier he was second in the 200 metres with 2:14.28.

In the women’s individual medley Laura Letrari easily won 100 and 200 in 1:01.32 and 2:13.56 while fellow- countrywoman Luisa Trombetti won the 400 metres contest in 4:42.15.
