Vyatchanin switches from Russia. Fundings cuts for swimming and athletics in Australia

Russian backstroker Arkady Vyatchanin told yesterday that he has decided to change his official sporting nationality from Russia, Allsport reported.
Vyatchanin, 29, is a member of the Russian team since 2000 and won two bronze medals at the 2008 Games in 100 and 200 backstroke.
He will miss the incoming Worlds to speed up the process to switch for another contry.
