Luciano Sales Rubio and Pilar Geijo both from Argentina, won the 88km Hernandarias-Parana on Sunday, the longest race of the FINA Open Water Swimming Grand Prix 2013.
They clocked 9h39:42 and 9h49:53 respectively.
Damian Blaum, also from Argentina, won silver in a time of 9h39:42.09 and Saleh Mohammad (SYR) won a bronze in 9h39:42.11.
In the women’s race Russia’s Olga Kozydub was second in 9h49:53.42 and Esther Nunez (ESP) was third in 9h56:48.56.
The next race will be held on April 20, in Cancun, Mexico.
