Muffat breaks Manaudou standard over 200m freestyle in 1:55.40. Agnel broke his own 200 free record winning the semi-final in 1:44.42

At French Olympic trials in Dunkirk, Camille Muffat and Yannick Agnel set new freestyle national records.

Yesterday, in the 200m semi-final, Muffat  broke another Laure Manaudou standard with 1:55.40 record (Manaudou set the world record at 1:55.52 winning 2007 world title in Melbourne).

Agnel broke his own 200m free ercord winning ithe semi-final in 1:44.42. His previous best was 1:44.99 that he has set in the first leg of the 4x200m free at the Shanghai Worlds last year.
