SHANGHAI - China's Jing Zhao has won the women's 100 metres backstroke title at the world swimming championships on Tuesday
Zhao clocked 59.05 seconds in the final to edge Anastasia Zueva of Russia by 1-hundreths of a second.
Natalie Coughlin of United States, who led the race up to 50m (28.44 split) placed third in 59.15.
