Six world marks were bettered on final day at SC Europeans in Denmark on Sunday

HERNING - Six world marks were bettered on Sunday, the final day of the short-course European Championships in Denmark.

Russia set the new men's 4x50 metres freestyle world record winning the gold in 1:23.36.

Russia set also the world best for the women's 4x50 medley relay as they clocked 1:44.67 to win the final.

In the morning heats four new world marks were set in the relays.

Italy set the men's 4x50 free world record in 1:25.89 and few minutes later, Belgium set the new standard at 1:25.52.

Czech Republic won the first of the two women's heats of the 4x50 medley relay in a world record time of 1:47.48 then a Danish quartet won the final heat in 1:45.92.

Yesterday Russia won the 4x50 freestyle mixed relay in a world record time of 1:29.53.
