Gwangju, Budapest get World Championships

South Korean city Gwangju and Budapest, Hungary, won the bid of hosting the world championships in 2019 and 2021.

South Korean city Gwangju was announced in Barcelona on Friday to win the bid of hosting the 18th world swimming championships in 2019.

Budapest, will host the 2021 edition. The Hungarian capital, staged the European championships four times in 1926, 1958, 2006 and 2010.
