LONDON - Russian Yulia Efimova set a new Euroepan record for the women's 200 metres breaststroke at the Olympic Games on Thursday.
The 20-year-old from Grozni clocked 2:20.92 to claim bronze, behind American Soni and Suzuki of Japan, shaving 0.70s from the record set by Nadja Higl of Serbia after seh won gold at the 2009 Worlds.
