Daniel Gyurta of Hungary broke the men's 200 metres breaststroke world record at the Olympic Games

LONDON - Daniel Gyurta of Hungary broke the men's 200 metres breaststroke world record at the Olympic Games on Wednesday.

Gyurta clocked 2:07.28 in the final to beat the 2:07.31 that Australian Christian Sprenger set in the semi-finals at the 2009 Worlds.
