Italy's Carli breaks 26-year record in women's freestyle. Russia set women's 400 free realy mark

ANTWERP - Diletta Carli of Italy broke a 26-year-old record in the women's 400 metres freestyle at the European Junior Championships on Thursday.
Carli won gold in 4:09.36. The previous mark was set in 1986 by Heidi Grein of the former East Germany, in West Berlin on July 25, 1986.
Russia has won six gold and set a new championships record winning gold with the women's 400m freestyle relay in 3:43.12 (pr. 3:44.66, France, Belgrade, July 7, 2011).
