LEN allows mixed relays
LEN will introduce the mixed 4x100 metres freestyle as well as the mixed 4x100m medley relays at the next Europeans.
The mixed relay team will consist of two male and two female swimmers who can start in whatever order.
The first mixed relays title will be awarded at the 2012 SC Europeans in Chartres (FRA, November 22-25).

SC Europeans alternate with Worlds
Starting from 2013 the SC Eruopean championships will be held every two years, alternating with the World Short Course Championships.
Thus, following the 2013 Europeans (December 12-15) the next European Short Course Championships will be held in 2015.

Schipper suffers setback
Australian world champion Jessicah Schipper was rush to hospital Thursday after emergency surgery on an ovarian cyst.
The swimmer hopes that this will not affect her preparations for the Olympics and aims to join the team in the United States later this month.

Mongolia Olypmic Team
FINA conceded Mongolia to attend the London Games.
The country will be represented by 2004 Olympian Andrey Tamir, 26, who will contest the men’s 100 meters breaststroke and Gantumur Oyungerel, 22, who will enter ther women’s 100 backstroke.
