Lu Ying sets women's 100 butterfly competition record. USA win women's 800m relay in new Games record

SHENZHEN - A couple of new competition record were set at the 26th Universiade in Shenzhen, China.

Lu Ying won the women's 100 metres butterfly in a new record of 57.86 seconds. The previous mark of 58.24 was set by Hannah Jane Arnett Wilson, HGK, in Belgrade two years ago.

The United States quartet of Bispo, Nauta, Dwelley and Romano set the new 800m freestyle relay competition record winning gold in 7:55.02. The previous mark of 7:57.87 was set by USA in Bangkok 2007.
