Australian women's 400m freestyle relay sets new Games record at the 26th Universiade. New Zealand is on top of the medal tally

SHENZHEN - The Australian women's 4x100m freestyle relay set a new competition record at the 26th Universiade, winning gold at the Natatorium Center on Sunday, the first day of the six-day event.

The team composed of Cate Campbell, Alice Mills, Jessica Morrison and Marieke Guehrer won gold in 3:40.03. The previous record from Bangkok 2007 (3:40.85) belonged to United States.
