ROME - Fabio Scozzoli of Italy set a new European record time of 26.11 seconds for the men's 50 metres breaststroke at the national short-course swimming championships in Ostia (Rome province) on Thursday.
He bettered the previous record of 26.14secs set by fellow-countryman Alessandro Terrin dressing an high-tech body suits, set in the semifinals of the 2009 Europeans in Istanbul.
