Diener dominates backstroke events, Yildirimer, Detti and Paltrinieri became the leader of the long-distance races

BELGRADE – Gemany’s Christian Diener dominates the backstroke since he has added gold medals in the 200 and 50 metres to his 100 metres backstroke title, in Belgrade on Saturday.

He also set a new competition record of 25.40 for the 50m backstroke.

Yildirimer, Detti and Paltrinieri became the leader of the long-distance races, overturning the podium of the 1500 today in the men’s 800 metres freestyle. Gold went to the Turkish, while the Italians took silver and bronze respectively.
