US SC Nationals becomes LC event
USA Swimming has changed the Minneapolis Grand Prix set for November 2011, into a long course meter competition to allow participants an opportunity to achieve Olympic Trials qualifying standards.

Park signs with Fila
Korea's swimming star Park Tae-hwan signed a two-year sponsorship agreement with Fila.

Fila will provide the swimmer of all of his required sports apparel and equipment, excluding the swimsuit and swim cap.

Park became the first South Korean to win an Olympic medal in swimming since he got gold in the 400 metres freestyle at the 2008 Games in Beijing.
