Ryan Lochte broke the men's 200m individual medley world record at the short-course World championships in Dubai timing 1:50.08

DUBAI – American swimmer Ryan Lochte broke the men's 200 metres individual medley world record at the short-course World championships on Friday timing 1:50.08.

His time bettered the mark of 1:51.55sec set by South Africa’s Darian Townsed in November last year at a Fina World Cup meeting in Berlin.
