China has set a world record in the women's 800 freestyle relay in Dubai. Australia claims silver in Commonwealth record time, France third and new European mark

DUBAI – China has set a world record in the women's 800 freestyle relay at the short-course swimming world championships. This is the first world mark for 2010.

The team composed of Chen Qian, Tang Yi, Liu Jing and Zhu Qianwei finished in 7:35.94 Wednesday.
