Ryan Lochte and Rebecca Soni won a leading two Golden Goggles awards, including Athlete of the Year, on Monday night when USA Swimming honoured the 2010 top American performers.

Lochte and Soni also won for races of the year.

2010 Golden Goggles Awards winners:

• Perseverance Award: Katie Ziegler
• Coach of the Year: Gregg Troy
• Relay Performance of the Year : women's 400m medley Pan Pacific Championships (Natalie Coughlin, Soni, Dana Vollmer and Jessica Hardy)
