SYDNEY - Ryan Napoleon earned a major off-court victory Tuessday when officials declared his ban for violating anti-doping rules was expired.

The 20-year-old distance swimmer was banned in June for a wrongly labelled asthma inhaler.

Australia has selected Napoleon to swim the 400 and 1500 metres freestyle at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi next month.
