LAUSANNE – Sergio Garcia and Ryan Napoleon received a doping ban by FINA because guilty of doping.

Spanish Garcia was suspended for one year for failing to report his whereabouts for drug testing and received a year ban, thus he cannot compete in London because the disqualification is more than six months.

Napoleon received a three-month doping ban and will miss the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi, early in October.

The Australian swimmer tested positive for Formoterol after he was given the wrong asthma inhaler by his pharmacist.

Both bans began on August 20.
